With our heavily subsidized programs and incredible scholarships available, you are bound to find a program that fits in your budget.

Program Duration: 2 months

Program Cost: $350

Cost Includes: Internship matching fee, transportation to/from work, all lodging, all meals, medical insurance, at least six full touring days, participation in Onward Israel Global Shabbaton.

Cost Excludes: airfare, cell phone rental.

Participating Learning Programs For Women: Jewel, Midreshet Rachel, Meor Women

Participating Learning Programs For Men: Meor Men and Ohr Somayach

Extensions: Available at subsidized rates – speak to a jInternship representative.

Eligibility / Scholarships

Ages: 19 – 27

Participation in jInternship requires acceptance into a registered jInternship Learning Program.

Students nominated by a jInternship campus representative are eligible for scholarships to reduce price to just $350. Without jInternship campus representative nomination, cost is $1850.

Students who have participated in an organized programs in Israel of three months duration or longer during the last four years are generally ineligible for the Onward Israel session; however, may be eligible for other jInternship sessions.

Students who previously participated in an Onward Israel program are not eligible for the Onward Israel session; however, may be eligible for other jInternship sessions.

Additional Scholarships: Available from local organizations to many qualifying participants.

  • Argentina $1000
  • Brazil $1000
  • Other Countries in Latin America: $1500
  • Australia $350 plus flight (local scholarships available)
  • European Countries $850 plus flight
  • South Africa $1850 ($850 for students who commit to the “Ohrsom Student” program)

The cost for European and South African students is $1050.

Olami Scholarships: Students nominated by a jInternship campus representative are eligible for a tuition scholarship of $1500 to bring the tuition down to $350. Without jInternship campus representative nomination, cost is $1850.

Additional Scholarships: Available from local organizations to many qualifying participants.

Program Cost: $5000 – final cost for most students after scholarships range from $350 to $2150 depending on scholarship eligibility.

Cost Includes: Internship matching fee, full lodging, most meals.

Cost Excludes: airfare, cell phone rental, transportation to/from work, medical insurance, some meals.

Participating Learning Programs For Woman: Midreshet Rachel, Shearim

Participating Learning Programs For Men: Ohr Somayach

Eligibility / Scholarships

Ages: 19 – 29

Participation in jInternship requires acceptance into a registered jInternship Learning Program.

Masa Scholarships
Students 19-20 are eligible $1100 Masa scholarships.
Students 21-29 are eligible for $2400 Masa scholarships.
Students 19-29 may apply for $1500 Masa need-based grant.

Students who previously participated in MASA program are not eligible for MASA scholarships.

Olami Scholarships:
Students nominated by a jInternship campus representative are eligible for $1500 tuition scholarship; European and South African students are eligible for $1000.

Onward Israel Scholarships: Select Two Month Onward Israel programs allow participants to extend the program for up to four months at a substantially subsidized rate. Please inquire with your jInternship representative about this option.

Additional Scholarships: Available from local organizations to many qualifying participants.

Scholarships and Stipends: All applicants are encouraged to apply for the Alex & Amy Polonsky Scholarship Fund, which awards stipends up to $750 upon participants’ return home after successful completion of the jInternship program.

Cost Includes: Internship matching fee; tuition; some meals; weekly excursions; seven day Retreat; transportation to Retreat; Subsidized housing options;

Cost Excludes: Transportation to host city, transportation to/from work, medical insurance, some meals.

Housing requirements and fees:

  • Baltimore Housing: Housing located in Pikesville, MD.
  • Washington DC: Housing located in Silver Spring, MD. a short Metro ride away from Washington D.C. proper.

Extensions: Speak to a jInternship representative if applicable.
