A non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, understanding, and furthering cooperation between Israel and Asia. They provide news, features and analysis on international affairs, organize events, seminars, briefings, advise journalists, and coordinate educational programs.
Interns will be involved in the coordination of the Institute’s fellowship projects. Tasks will include coordinating seminars, workshops, field trips, host families, and professional mentors. Other responsibilities will be liaising with Asian student fellows on their fellowship projects. In addition to the above, students will also be marketing and promoting the fellowship to Asian fellows, processing applications and liaising with successful applicants regarding the fellowship.
4 month students only. Educational organization background preferred. Requirements: High level of written English, excellent communication skills , media-savvy, excellent inter-personal skills, ability to deal with people from different cultures, strong work-ethic, responsible and mature, able to take initiative, interest in international affairs, knowledge of an Asian language is a plus, but not required. Hebrew, English or Chinese mother-tongue.
