14 Feb Intern at a Health Policy Research Center
internship0001297 Brookdale Institute
Our founding in 1974 was a milestone in the efforts to promote the use of research to improve the effectiveness of Israel’s social service system. Our research makes a difference across the entire life cycle from children and youth at risk to the elderly, in every important dimension of life—education, employment, disabilities, health, immigration, and social welfare. Internationally, our knowledge and expertise are increasingly sought after by Jewish organizations around the world, international organizations, philanthropic foundations, and others. Our internationally recognized model links research with policy, practice, and action to enable more effective responses to social challenges. For 40 years, we have been involved in Israel’s most important national social initiatives, using cutting-edge research to contribute to many significant social policy and program reforms in Israel.
Interns will assist the director of this health policy research center in editing their journal. They will also help the organization get involved with social media and social networking.
Knowledge in health policy is not required.
