14 Feb Intern in a Physical Therapy Lab
internship0001587 Dr. Michal Katz Leurer
Investigating the Cardiac Autonomic System Among Brain Damaged Patients Stroke, traumatic brain injury and cerebral palsy are the most common causes of physical disability. Autonomic instability is common phenomenon post brain damage, with signs and symptoms of hyperstimulation of the sympathetic nervous system. We study the connections between physical disability and the cardiac autonomic regulation system. We assess the cardiac autonomic response to different stimulus and its immediate and long-lasting adaptation to different physical training protocols.
The intern will assist in this physical therapy lab.
