A non-profit organization promoting social and environmental justice. Members are both Israeli and diaspora Jews engaging in global poverty, marginilization and environmental devastation through on-ground long-term projects in Israel and abroad.
Interns in this position will work on the following projects: Outreach and communication with marketing partners in Europe and the US (for example Hillel, Birthright Next and others). Writing stories and/or press releases for our organizational blog, partner blogs and outside platforms. Developing social media content, including images and video clips (if possible). Writing and updating website texts. Helping the staff write grant proposals. Updating the Salesforce database. SS 12/28, spoke with their office. They have two tasks for interns: 1. PR/Marketing: help with promotion, marketing for their Track4Change program, helping to raise funds 2. PR/Communications: managing/creating database for alumni relations
Excellent writing skills in English with a preference for marketing writing experience and/or blogging. Video editing capabilities, graphic design, website development and familiarity with Salesforce preferred. **Marketing, video editing, graphics
The intern will learn about the unique work the organization is doing in the Third World and Israel. He/she will gain insight into the NGO sector in Israel and experience the inner workings of an NGO in all the aspects- office, marketing, public relations, social media, etc.
