internship0000209 The Siebenberg House

A museum underneath a house in the Old City of Jerusalem. Excavations revealed remains of ancient dwellings reaching back 3,000 years to the days of King Solomon and the First Temple, Second Temple, and Byzantine periods. The museum exhibits all their findings and shows rare artifacts.

Opportunity to work in one of the most unique archeological museums in the world: launch and maintain a social media effort to publicize the museum, develop PR and marketing strategies to attract more tourists and Israeli citizens to its unique story and findings. The intern will be expected to design pamphlets and brochures on Photoshop.



Knowledge of Photoshop, graphic design, and preparation of material for print and online publication. Interest and/or background in archaeology, Jewish heritage, cultural heritage, Jewish studies. Knowledge in social media and marketing strategy. Personal laptop is preferred.


Hebrew Required:



The intern will be able to reference his or her experience with a famous museum, featured in many international publications (including both National Geographic and the New York Times by Tom Friedman).
