The Center includes a multi-disciplinary cardiovascular clinic for women with an emphasis on lifestyle change, an internet site and social media center including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and multiple culturally-appropriate community intervention programs on a large scale. Target populations for community interventions include Arab women in East Jerusalem, Ultra-Orthodox women, the Disabled community (men and women), disadvantaged women, and hospital employees. The Center is also involved in translational research, health care provider education and a coordinated effort to develop and awareness campaign and to influence public policy.
The intern will be able to choose between a variety of projects, ranging from nutrition to public health to empowering women health within communities. The intern will also be able to assist with upgrading the Center’s English website and writing new health articles for the website.
