Ran Bar-Yoshafat
Co-Director
Ran Bar-Yoshafat, Deputy Director of the Kohelet Policy Forum, is a seasoned leader in Israel advocacy and community empowerment. With over 120,000 students engaged through his lectures on Israel Advocacy across America, Ran brings a wealth of experience and passion to his work. Having recently completed a 100-day service in Gaza as an IDF reserves officer, he offers invaluable real-world perspectives to his audience.
Ran is actively engaged with influential organizations where he continues to foster connections and champion pro-Israel causes. As a visionary leader and advocate, Ran Bar-Yoshafat stands poised to lead an unforgettable summer program experience, blending education, empowerment, and inspiration for students seeking meaningful engagement and growth.
Shlomo Gershenfeld
Co-Director
Rabbi Shlomo creates dynamic educational and professional experiences for Meor students who are interested in living, learning, and working in Israel.
Residing in Jerusalem with his wife and children, Rabbi Shlomo, as he is affectionately called by his students, started and manages his own online sales business, and runs seminars that teaches others how to do the same.
Michal Levy
Director, Women's Programming
Meet Michal Levy, a dynamic force in the world of women’s education in Israel! With a vibrant spirit and a decade-long tenure as the Meor Israel Women’s Educational Director, Michal has been the creative mind behind the development and oversight of the Meor women’s programs in Israel. In addition she is the Program Director at Midreshet Tehillah where she teaches and mentors the students. Over the years she has been involved in teaching and developing many other seminary programs in Jerusalem. Michal lives in Jerusalem with her husband and children.
